-> Razr problem w/ ring style <-

Hi,
for an unknow reason I have a problem with my Razr v3.

When plugged to my PC through the USB cable, it says "switching
to Loud". But then, it doesn't ring anymore when I have incoming
calls. If I unplug it, it switches back to "Vibe then ring" and
works ok.

The only thing I changed was the firmware through the Motorola
web site a couple of months ago, but it did work in the meantime.

Also, if I go to the Styles menu, set Style = Loud and then click
the "Loud Detail", it doesn't show anything, it just returns to
the main screen, without doing anything.

Any idea???

I too have the same problem, but i haven't done anything to my razr.
just got it a week ago. no upgrades or mods have been dopne. any idea
on how to fix this?

I emailed you the response i got at vxxxstuff.com, but i'll post is
here.

When using P2Kman - follow these steps after you load the new ringtones
on your phone . . .
1. restart the phone
2. (in p2k) update the file list
3. (in p2k) delete TempToneDB.db from the audio folder
4. (in p2k) delete MyToneDB.db from the audio folder
5. restart the phone

That did it!

Great. Now it rings again and I can set the "Loud" parameters
since they are now correctly displayed.

You are GOOD my friend...I was having the same problem with my
ringtones and this little fix solved the problem...THANK YOU
