Anyone know how to fix the memory card in a V3i? I just bought this one, and
it has the Motorola music software, not the junk Itunes. The phone says that
it needs to format the card to be able to read it. Fine, but when I go to do
that, it constantly fails. Is there a size limit on the card that you can
use? I am trying to use a 2GB card that I pulled from my Sansa e280 MP3
player. I reformatted it using Windows, but I cannot get it to read on the
phone or thru the MPT software. Any ideas from anyone? This card worked fine
in the MP3 player, if that makes a difference.

Re: Problems with V3i
As far as I know the V3i supports only Cards with 512MB. At least this
is the info on the Website from Motorola.

Re: Problems with V3i
Okay, I have tried multiple times to format the card using the phone, and it
always comes back the same - it fails. I have reformatted the card in
Windows several different ways using different machines, different formats
and different operating systems. It will work fine in my MP3 player, and it
reads fine with the SD adapter in my camera and my Axim, but it will not
work in the V3i.
Any other ideas? How were you able to get the 1GB and 2GB cards to work in
your phone?
