Re: Standalone charger for V325I?

The only real source is China. There's a guy in Hong Kong selling kits with
2 batteries and a charger block for about $20 shipped. I can attest that you
will get what your order, but it does take a couple weeks for mailing from
Hong Kong. You cannot beat the price:

I bought one, works great, as do the batteries.

For reasons that escape me, Motorola has decided to do away with battery
chargers. Fortunately the Chinese still make them.

The reason is lack of demand.

1. It's a reasonable presumption -- if there were enough demand, the
market would make such products readily available, OEM or aftermarket.

2. Most accessories are poor sellers, which is why few dealers carry
very many of them.

David,
Today, the only way I can charge my phone battery separately is to buy an
"old" deactivated v325 (or any phone that uses that battery) and use it
solely for charging batteries. v325's still get a good price on eBay, but
sometimes you can find one with a cracked screen or such for a real bargain.

Have you checked out so-called universal cell phone battery chargers?
e.g., <http://www.shentech.com/unsmmocephba.html>
