    Service: Verizon prepay(since 2002)
    Original Phone: Motorola 120c
Want to switch to: Motorola V60i(son gave me phone when he got another phone
with his new service, and it's a lot spiffier than the 120c)

I could not unlock and get to the NAM1/NAM2 on either phone to reprogram.
Researched showed Verizon *228 for a OTA, and PRL update. I did that and now
the 120c unlocks and goes to the NAM1/NAM2 and has all the info to enter
    into the V60i (MIN,IMSIM,MDN,AMPSSYSID,CDMA ESN,PRL ,etc) I think?
The V60i was and still is Cingular serviced (no connection of course). Both
codes are 74663#,menu,menu. The V60i won't unlock. I have set both phones to
security codes of 1234, and 000000 which are default to unlock and OTA/PRL
update of the cell phone?? I have the original manual for 120c, and a
download PDF for the V60i. I can't unlock the V60i, I am missing something?

The 120c is pretty well used up (workable of course), the V60i is just a lot
    fancier, desk charger, etc etc.
I am not a programmer, or a cell phone operator with experience in this
area. I have tried to do "do diligence" on the research.
Any suggestions, replacement of newer codes I don't know about, wrong
entering, etc etc. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Use Google to search for Motorola "modding" sites.
