I agree the solitaire on my German Vodaphone V3i has been quite cleverly
implemented to make it easy to enjoy - except for one silly idea and a
related nasty bug.
Apparently, some developer in the process decided (wrongly) that the pgm
could detect when the game was hopeless and warns you of that in a
bothering interruption to the game. But far worse is that if you ignore
that warning and go through the deck again, it aborts the game for you.
Nice of it.
There's a bug associated with it, because it all happens with a slight
unpredictability factor, sometimes not even bothering to warn you, for
instance.
How insulting it is for me to have a game decide for me that I may not play
anymore Furthmore, it is absolutely not the case that the game is ahead
of me - I have repeatably been able to win the game even after having been
warned of impending disaster (it stays quiet for a round when you can
place cards from the deck).
Furthermore, since I discovered the nice reshuffle feature, I can win 2 or 3
times more often after the warning.
What's my point? Does this get on anybody else's nerves and/or does anybody
know how I can get a patch?
