Verizon Wireless KRZR

I just got a KRZR from Verizon Wireless and have been playing around
with the ability to copy mp3s from my pc using Windows Media Player. I
was disappointed to find out that these files are now capable of bing
applied as ringtones. I have found a site that claims this can be
achieved by using Motorola Software Update (MSU) and P2k Commander.

Before I try this, I would like to make sure that this process will
not mess up the Verizon Wireless software already on the phone, other
than allowing the files to be applied as ringtones. Does anyone know
if this will screw up Verizon's software in anyway? Your help is
greatly appreciated

MSU just puts your phone into a mode that P2K needs to communicate
with phone. It won't harm anything.
