Green Triangle on Screen

Okay, I know I asked this before, but I can't find the help response
anywhere. So, I have a Green triangle on my new RAZR phone, in the upper
middle section of the screen. It is a Cingular (AT&T) service phone that is
a replacement. Gotta love the SIM card. What does this mean and how do I fix
it? IS there a flex or flash I just need to run? I flexed it already, but it
obviously needs something else.

Also, are there any newer flex or monster packs for the RAZR V3? I got mine
from Motox, not sure where else to look, since they were always helpful.

And, can I flex/flash a monster pack for a RAZR V3i phone to a plain RAZR
V3? Or is this not compatible?

Thanks for the help.

Re: Green Triangle on Screen

It's a roaming indicator. You can correct it with a SEEM edit. See
www.motox.info.

Re: Green Triangle on Screen

Excellent. That seemed to work. Now the phone seems to be working as it
should. When I went to make a call, it would cut off immediately after one
ring.

Bruce, what about the rest of my questions? Any ideas?

Re: Green Triangle on Screen

PlanetMotox usually has the latest and there's only so far you can go on
a "classic" v3. The v3i can do a lot more but you cannot "upgrade" a v3
to a v3i by any means. Some have tried and none have succeeded. There
are enough differences in the hardware that it just isn't compatible.
I've had both the v3 and vri and now I'm using a v6MAXX which is the
best so far but I'll be stepping up to a v8 or v9 when they are
released.

Re: Green Triangle on Screen

I agree, I will be buying one of those as well.

Now I have a different question that I hope you can help me with Bruce. The
new phone that I seem edited last night, has another more serious problem.
Whenever you call out from it, or it receives a call, after 2 seconds, it
immediately ends the call. Almost like the call was dropped, but it only
started when I set my wife up with her new RAZR. With here old one, it never
did this. Any idea on what this is or how to fix it? It sucks when you are
trying to call out or receive a call.

Thanks again.

Re: Green Triangle on Screen

Well that's not good. I don't know the cause or solution to that problem
but you might want to start fresh with new MonsterPack or Flexlash from
www.planetmotox.net. There are versions for both Cingular and TMobile as
well as unbranded. When I had a v3 I put in the TMo version and then
made the SEEM edits I wanted.
