Go to Motorola or your Carrier's web site. Look up what batteries
they've paired with your phone. Then look for those on Ebay or
Amazon.com. Other places I've used, Cellular Emporium in California and
New York Cell Phone in Charleston, SC. Both of these have online shops
and quite often I've found useful stuff at good prices.

Thanks for the input. I read somewhere that there are vendors
selling outdated batteries that will not last and I sure
don't want one of them. Have you heard of that happening?

The other issue are the counterfeits being sold as "genuine Motorola"

Wish I had a better answer. Motorola's website has a page on how to
spot counterfeits merchandise.
