No. PUK is on
SIM card given by provider. Subsidy is on the device given
by the device manufacturer. I was using Vodafone as provider. They have
a webpage where you enter your
IMEI (*#06*) and get the subsidy code, if
you have had your cellphone for 2 years.
I could not use it because my subsidy was already entered wrong so i
bought a data cable and unlocked with free software.
