SIM Problem! Help Please!

I had a sim error the other day for the first time and now the error
is back but I can't get the sim out. Is there a trick? I should have
cleaned it the other day before inserting it but I didn't. Please help,

After removing the battery, fingertip friction on the top of the card
is typically enough to get it to come out unless you inserted it in a
troubling way.
