V3R and 2gb microSD troubles

Some say the max is 1gb and some 2gb. I tried a 2gb and it the phone
trys to format it but fails. The memory is good as I can connect it to
my computer and it is fine. Does anyone have a clue? TIA

Same thing happened to me. I gave up trying and used a 1gig.

I can't speak for the v3r but I have a v3i and v6Maxx and the 2GB
Sandisk card worked perfectly right out of the box with no formatting
required.
