    Hi folks.

Bought a razr v3 in january this year, got
the mpt tools up & running ok & it says i
have a razr v3r, now according to motorola
helpline that is a phone for the american
    market.

I have been told by motorola that i cannot
get anymore memory for it or a plug in card
type of thing, but i have seen on here that
somebody says that you can get a removable
    card to work.

    Who's right or wrong.

    zack.

Life is hard to believe it's even worse
when you have to phone the help line that
connects you to someone in india, who then
ask you to please speak slowly as they
cannot understand you, is it because we
are speaking english or just whistling
in the dark. God bless the help line.

Somebody may have misheard the model name,
    http://www.mobiledia.com/phones/motorola/razr-v3r.html
and other links indicate it has a miniSD (Transflash) slot. Take the back
off the 'phone and have a look at the left side of the SIM for a *small*
slot to put a card in. It may already have a card in.

MPT might have screwed up hence with a V3 there's no memory expansion. As a
quick check, select Camera then Menu and see if you have a "Switch storage
device" option. If not then you've probably got a V3.
