GRCONW.dll problem with version 4?

I have 2 computer and when I try to get version 4 of phone tools/live
update I keep getting GRCONW.dll error.

One machine runs on xp home with sp2 and all updates, the other computer
is a lap top and only a few months old running media centre with updates.

I have tried the regedit

1. If any of the following appear in Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove
programs, remove them: Motorola Phone Tools, Mobile PhoneTools, and/or
LiveUpdate

2. Click Start > Run > regedit > navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > system
> current control set > control

3. Click on control, in the right window you will see either:
- Disable8dot3namecreation
*OR*
- NtfsDisable8dot3namecreation
Double-click on the one that is listed and change the value (which
should be 1) to 0 (zero).

4. Reboot your computer and reinstall Motorola Phone Tools or Mobile
PhoneTools.

But that does not work as both computers are already set to 0 and do not
need changing. I have also been on the anvanquest web site and searched
the forum and they say do the same as above. I also emailed CS and they
told me to do the same thing.

I have emailed them proof of purchase but I have had no response from them.

Is there a newer version to download?

Please help

thanks
