I don't know about the RAZR, but with my KRZR I just plug in a USB
cable and upload/download like it was another drive on my computer.
    Don't need any software.

    motorola.com

They charge a few bucks for it. If access to your hpotos and backing
up your contacts isn't worth a fraction of what you pay in service
every month, and you want to break the law and open your PC to a
trojan'd download that adds you to someone's botnet, I suppose you
    could look other places.

Look for p2ktools or p2kcommander. Thats freeware.

    Have a look at motox.us and motomodders.net.

I have a Moto Razr v3 and have used both Motorola Phone Tools, a
Bluetooth to USB dongle, or P2K tools. My carrier is T-Mobile (GSM), I
didn't have to hack anything. T-Mobile is not for everyone as the
signal can be spotty once you get away from main urban areas. For my
needs it's the best deal. They will even give you the phone unlock code
if you tell them that you are going to be abroad for a while and want to
    use a local SIM card.

I have a Razor v3m through Verizon, I have hacked it and I usual
access it by P2KCommander. There are several sites on the web that
    help.

Also, found a way to easily download ringtones. Use MP3 Trim to cut
down the MP3. Then all you have to do is record for a couple of
seconds on your phone save it with a the name you want. Then rename
the MP3 the same name as your recording and copy to your phone via
USB. Voice recordings carry a *.qcp extension.

Also, you can edit attributes and delete and remove phones from your
    phone naturally.

Like I said, there is alot of info. You can even get the Motorola
phone adapter at Wally World, it comes with the universal kit they
    sell for about 15 bucks.
