Hi guys, I'm new to this ng so be gentle ...lol.

I have a RAZR V3x and I would like to know if there is any way or hack I can perform on this thing that will allow me to save the
full cellphone address book directly to my PC, preferably without data loss. I don't want to use a SIM car reader for this reason.
Bluetooth I have mastered and regularly transfer files (pix, sounds, vids) between my PC and cellphone. My PC OS is XP

Any and all assistance is greatly appreciated
    Cheers
    Buck

    BitPim should do this.

I don't know about the RAZR V3x! I have a RAZR V3m which works just
fine with Motorola Phone Tools. I was able to enter all my contact
names and phone numbers on my PC and load them into my phone using MPT
    and the USB cable.

I did have to get a RAZR capable version of MPT. I bought a CD from
Amazon and found that it didn't support my phone. I called Motorola
tech support and was given a temporary URL which I used to download a
version that DID support the RAZR. I entered all my contact info via
the keyboard which is EVER SO MUCH EASIER than punching them in through
    the keypad of the phone!

MPT works fine with the v3x. I had one for about a year till I got my v6
Maxx. Used MPT to upload all the stuff to the new phone in less than a
    minute.

Motorola Phone Tools will update from almost any version to the latest
version. With your original CD in place, you could have done the updates
via the internet. The temporary URL is rolled to the latest revision,
    typically not available on CD.

Menu-Setup-LiveUpdate. Some of the upgrade steps are many MB, and the
system seems to download them one at a time, so the URL to the current
version can be quite a timesaver.

Can you give me a URL where I can download MPT from?

Amazon lists the 4.0 CDs with cable for around $5.
It doesn't matter what version you get, as long as you have a high speed
internet connection. They will all upgrade to the latest. Some of the
upgrades are several MB. The older versions are $2.

You can also download directly from the vendor, but that's more expensive.
    http://www.bvrp.com/customers/motorola/upgrade/US/
It says it is an upgrade, but it is a full release.
If you wander through the forums, there is a 15% discount code posted.

With WinXP SP2, you should be able to right click on an MP3 file and "send
    to" your bluetooth device.

If you have the common Widcom driver stack installed, there should be a "My
Bluetooth Places" Folder that makes it a more windows-folder oriented task,
    in both directions.

You can only do one contact at a time, though, AFAIK.
