How Old is the Motorola/TMobile V600 Series phone

Just wondering if anyone knows how old this phone is?Thanks

That was the generation before the original RAZR. I guess the V600
appeared late 2003 or maybe 2004.

I got my v600 in late 2002. I remember it fondly, it was one of the first of
the post Micro-TAC generation.

Wasn't the StarTac in between the MicroTac and the V series?

I bought one in, I think, early 2003.

Be aware that, while the V600 is nominally a quad-band GSM phone,
the US T-Mobile branded V600 I bought had 850 MHz disabled. I returned
that one, and later the same year bought an unbranded V600 in
Hong Kong which had all 4 bands working. It was a good phone, I
passed it on to a relative who is still using it.

I have a friend still carrying his. Its more powerful transmitter and real
antenna easily outperforms the glitzy girls.
