I discovered that when I'm in a "fringe" area and tend to lose signal
frequently, my battery will only last a couple of days, but in a strong signal
areas it will last a week! Seems that when you lose a signal it begins searching
for a signal and will simply run itself down searching. Took a while to figure
that out, but it works. One of the places I hunt is in a "dead" area in west
Texas. I can go there with a full charge on Friday and by Sunday my battery will
be nearly dead if I don't put it on a charger. Lasts a week in Dallas.
