Call Times on v551 ?

This is a beginner question though I've had my v551 for 2-3 years.

This month it showed under Call Times, All Calls: 1048:16:42

I assume that is hours, minutes, seconds. I reset each month.

The usage shown from Cingular was about 160 minutes.

Usually the Cingular usage is above what the phone shows but not this
very large difference.

Is this a phone malfunction?

AT&T (Cingular) is always going to be higher because they round your minutes
up to the next minute.

It can't possibly be "hours, minutes, seconds"!!!! Do the math!
24 hours times 31 days equals ?? Hint, it's nowhere near 1048!!
New if that bill were for two phones, you could use that many hours and
have a little time left to eat and sleep.

I realized it didn't make sense but this type of thing happened once
before on my v551 about 2 years ago.

I was trying to find out if others get time malfunctions like this or if
the 1048:16:42 means something other than hours, minutes, seconds.

Are you sure you are not looking at Lifetime? That will never reset to zero.

Yup. That increased by the 1048 this month.
