In California it is now illegal to hold a cell-phone when driving. I
hate having a contraption hanging on my ear. So I am looking into a
hands-free speakerphone that clips onto the visor. Someone suggested
the Motorola T305. If you have one or have tried one, what do you think
about it? What do you like and don't like about it? How is the sound
quality? Since the law is relatively new, I wonder if the technology
and prices will improve relatively soon.

Just hang up and drive. It's been proven that a hands free cell phone
is no less a safety hazard than a hand held one. You do NOT need to
use a cell phone in a moving car.

My girlfriend and I both have one. But there's something wrong with
them. They hang up after 10 minutes or so. I've got an RMA into
Motorola to have them replaced.
When they work, they work great. The little speaker is more than loud
enough.

Do they hang up every time after 10 minutes? Just wondering if those
weren't instances of your cell phone service fading out instead. That
happens to me fairly frequently. Anyway I hope the replacements work
well for you. I'd be interested to know because I still haven't bought
one. Thanks.

I have done several conference calls from Little Rock to Texarkana. Two
+ hours. Also from Magnolia, AR to Shreveport. No problems.
