The displays are not working now. Damn! I really loved this phone. Is there
an easy fix? If i need to replace it I'd want a Moto flip phone of some
type. Are the Razrs any good?

    Thanks,

Don't know about the fix, but there are a number of them on eBay:

If your phone is no longer under warranty a new phone might be cheaper
and easier. If it's under warranty and the damage is covered by the
    warranty, get it fixed.

I've had my RAZR V3m since last December. It works. Battery life while
on standby is two or three days (at least) but I put mine on charge when
I go to bed at night and take it off charge in the morning.

I don't talk on it very much so I can't say how much talk time I might
get from it; it's an "in case of emergency" phone.

Yes. The latest all singing all dancing Razr's are the V8 / V9, but these
    are expensive.

If you just want a [very] solid general purpose flip phone then the Razr V3i
is a sound choice and less than half the price of the latest model.

OK I had the V557 for many years and was always reliable til now.
I may want to get a RAZR but I will have to buy from ebay most likely whicj
is where i got the 557. I don't care about collecting or listening to music.
I do like camera and video capability. I have read that some of the RAZRs
    are hard to hear.
What RAZR model do y'all think I should for? Oh what about Krazr or
    whatever?
I want a flip phone so the screen is protected.
Y'all are the experts and users here so asking you for advice.

    Thanks,
    Sarge

Great link! You think I can take this fool thing apart and fix it then? I
need a cell phone tool kit maybe?

If you are comfortable with the V557 then I would stick with it. I have had
the V3 for a couple of years. Would I stick with it? Probably not as it
tends to echo at times when placing a call and the screen is very hard to
    read in sunlight.

    It has one 1280x960 IIRC.

No problem with the one I recently bought my partner.

V3i - just superceded and should be plentiful on Ebay.

NOT the V3, which can't take a micro SD card and misses several other
    features.

BTW if you are buying high specification goods always download the user
manual to see what it can and can't do : -
