I'm glad 1Gb is plenty because:
Motorola says up to 2Gb.
http://www.motorola.com/consumers/v/...&vgnextfmt=alt
or: http://preview.tinyurl.com/57rtbr
The owners manual, page 33, says up to 4Gb.
http://www.motorola.com/Hellomoto/Ma...UG_Updated.pdf
Or: http://preview.tinyurl.com/6qtcra
One or the other is probably right but who knows?

It can take up to 2Gb, but can't do SDHC (which goes up to 8gb or more).
I presume that an SDHC 2Gb card can be read in a regular reader (as in the
phone).

OK I see. Heck 1 gb is plenty for me. Not into collecting music.

SDHC is up to 32GB, now, but they're $300 a pop.
I have two 16GB in my Nokia N800 Linux tablet I paid $59 each for. Simply
amazing in such a small package.
http://www.meritline.com/a-data-16gb...lash-card.html
>>>>>>>>>>$47.75 for the Class 6 A-Data cards just like mine....
This A-Data card is very fast in the tablet's SDHC slots, but slower
plugged into a Sandisk USB adapter, probably because of USB 2.0, not the
card or adapter.
The N800 will load the card 4 times faster with my 1TB Western Digital "My
Book" USB 2.0 drive plugged into the tablet's hacked miniUSB port in Host
mode than taking the card out of the tablet, plugging it into the Sandisk
adapter because the PC, itself, doesn't support 16GB cards in the SD slot
and loading the card on the PC.

That will definitely work, I bought my partner a V3i for her birthday and
put a Kingston 1Gb micro SD card in it no problem.

Are you able to store 2 GB in that card?
I can imagine a situation in which the FIRST GB is used and the second
is IGNORED
