    Why is that that Americans just don't know how to format their phone
    numbers for an international audience?

    Since when was Alexander Graham Bell American? Born in Edinburgh on March 3
    1847. He might have invented the phone in America but he was British.

    Typical of the Americans to try and accept responsibility for everything
