Which "current" phones have external antenna connectors?

Hello!

I was told that while some of the current Motorola phones have
external antenna connectors, the connector is for testing purposes and
may break with repeated use. Is this correct? By "current", I mean
the phones that can be purchased new from retailers, or providers like
Verizon.

Do any of the current Motorola phones have external antenna connectors
designed for everyday use?

Thanks!

My T720 has a socket in the back that goes to the antenna plug in the
car kit. I use it whenever I drive.

The professional car install kit for the Motorola phones (such as the T720)
uses that connector, so I would expect that it would be designed for
everyday use. Can't speak for other brands.

Exactly. The question was about the external antenna connector on a
"current Mot" phone. My "current Mot" phone has such a connector, and
it works as requested.

; Can't speak for other brands.

Me neither, but at least in the scope of the question asked, it's
irrelevant.

My guess is that many of the Mot phones with screw in aerials (e.g.
Timeports) can probably have this changed to a screwed in plug and plug in
aerial. Obviously there will be a small insertion loss, but this will only
matter at maximum output or EMR phobes.
