I have had several occasions over the past few weeks where I go to use my
phone only to find that the screen is black even thought the phone is on. To
correct the problem I have to remove the battery and restart the phone. This
has also happened to my son and his friend who also have T-720's.
Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a fix for it? Thanks for
anticipated replies.

This sometimes happens to me when I have 'No Service' - it comes back on
when I get a signal again.

Re: T-720 Blank Screen
The phone is less than a month old. I am reluctant to return it for another
as this seems to be a problem with these phones . I was hoping someone or
even Motorola would have a fix for this problem.

I've just discovered a pair of problems with my new T720 - it's not
recognizing my programmed voice dial entries, and the microphone in my
prof. installed car kit isn't working. And this is already my second
T720 since July. The first one I returned because it kept freezing
when inserted into the car kit holder.

This happened to me also. I had the phone charging. When I came by and looked
at it, the front LCD display was off and the inside screen was black. Didn't
make any sounds when pressing the keys. I took out the battery and stuck it
back it, and that worked. I thought it was something I did when I recharged it,
or thought it might have gotten a power spike.
