Phone Cover Window Sticks to Phone Display

This has been a problem with every phone I've had. The phone carry case has
a clear panel that covers the phone display, but it always ends up sticking
to the plastic display cover in places and actually makes it more difficult
sometimes to see the what's displayed. The inside surface of the add-on
cover seems to sort of weld itself to the hard plastic phone display lens.
Take it off, put back on, and after a while its happened again. It bugs the
heck outta me. Any solutions?

I've had various phones with various such covers and they always stick and
seem to increase glare. My solution? I started cutting them out of the
case with a razor blade! Problem solved. And I am easy on the phones and
never scratched the display screen.
