#1 | | Guest | Ok, I received a 'new' V60i today supplied by an online cellular
provider. ATT service included. Phone works fine, calls in and out
perfect.
There is however a field called "My Tel Number" which displays a
different phone number! The phone displays the wrong number, but
actually works fine with the proper assigned number. Seems there must
be an informational field somewhere that their service technician must
have set wrong (or this might have been a returned phone and the
original customer's number was not cleared properly).
Anyone have the keystroke sequences to get to the V60i service
technician menus? I assume a simple re-setup of that display field will fix
it.
Ideas?

#2 | | Guest | You probably need to change the NAM settings
I assume the v60 has the same programming codes as the v120. If so, do
the following:
From an idle screen, dial
74663 # Menu Menu
Then select NAM1
Make sure the MIN and MDN are the same number (the correct number for
your phone)

When I input 74663# Menu - it gets me into a new new menu of choices,
but the second "menu" button doesn't do anything. I'm using a V60g.

I have the same problem with a V60i I got for my wife from eBay. Still has
the original number in the "My Tel Number" window, and AT&T had no idea how
to correct it. I'll try the steps above when my wife gets home and report
back.... | | | |

it did not work - hitting menu the first time brings up the dialing menu,
and hitting menu again does nothing. | | | |

#15 | | Guest | Here's a step-by-step procedure:
1. Enter the menu
2. Go to "Settings"
3. Go to "Phone Status"
4. Go to "My Tel. Number"
5. You will now see a list of 5 slots of your own telephone number. Four of
them should be empty (usually number 2-4.) From here you can edit the list
and choose one of them as your default.
Good luck!
