    Hi,

I have the older version of the Motorola timeport. The one without games.

What I'm looking to do is hook up the phone through the data cable to my
computer, and copy the voice messages that have been recorded through the
handset, and save them to my computer.

Is this possible? If so, is there any software I will need, and where can I
    get it?

Also, is there any cell software/freeware available online that I can add
ring tones etc. to this phone?

I'd really appreciate it if anyone can help me out!
    Thanks!

Don't know if you can copy the messages through the data port, however it
would be an absolute doddle to transcribe them through the headset port.

I've delved fairly deeply into the Timeport world and don't know of
    anything that will do this.

    What model is it?

    Hi Doug,

I believe it's the Motorola Timeport L7089 GSM Phone. It's not the latest
    model of the phone.
