They contact previous beta testers first, then they hit the newsgroups
    looking for more volunteers.

The first time around I used keyed addresses (specific to jabra), I've
never received spam or anything, or any telemarketing that I can trace
    back to them.

You must be new to these parts. Jabra has sent several requests for
Beta testers to the cellular news groups. If you're so concerned and
paranoid then by all means ignore it and let others test the equipment
and get free product to use after the trial.

Hey, you're doing a favour to the rest of us who sign up for the
trial. Less competition to be put on the Beta trial and get free
product to use after the trial.

It is a wired cell phone compatible headset. It is roughly an upside
down capital G shape, worn over the ear with two sizes of ear piece
that can be fitted so as to be worn on the left or right ear. It is
gray in color with a short silver colored boom like extension that
holds a noise canceling microphone. It looks very much like a wired
version of Jabra's wireless bluetooth headset. A little less as it
doesn't need the extra components of the wireless.

It is comfortable to wear. It stays put, looks good and the sound
quality is very good for both ends of the conversation.
