That's how we learn, by some combination of RTFM, WTBD? and PHIS! my
personal distribution ratio is 10% RTFM (quick start summary), 85% What's
This Button Do? and later when the learning curve flattens out you'll see my
Please Help I'm Stuck! posts.
If you are the
PDA man you must have at one time loaded some cool-looking
piece of software without knowing precisely how it worked or what it did
right?
Not "qualified"? When has anybody ever been qualified to do anything new or
exploratory. The things I am qualified to do are things that do not require
a cerebral cortex (simple acts of personal hygiene, riding a bicycle, being
a wise-ass, etc.
I'm sure anybody is qualified to do anything their curiosity takes them to.
Exceptions involve the strong possibility of grave consequences for self or
others. Nobody considers young children qualified to carry loaded firearms
but that's lack of judgment.
You watch, Dan will be qualified to use his master reset/clear option very
quickly and then he can move on to hacking or building jammers or answering
other people's PHIS! posts.
However, it just occurred to me that you are maybe being facetious having
done the same thing (and posted the PHI'S on this NG recently.)
