I'm having problems synchronizing the contact info between my V60i and Notes
R5. I'm using TrueSync 3.1 which worked for a while until the address book
in Notes somehow got cleared. All the contacts are still on the V60i.

Now when I try to do a sync with the option set to overwrite my Notes
contact data, TrueSync returns an error saying it doesn't have edit
permissions to write the data to my address book. Anyone else have this
problem or know of a workaround?
    Thank you.

WinXP? Truesync installed on a non-Admin account? That would be one
cause, especially if Notes was installed on another account, or if
    permissions on a folder changed.

I am running WinXP but the user account is set with administrative rights.
Truesync is able to transfer the contact info from my workstation to the
V60i, just not the other way around.

I'm wondering a) which user Truesynch is running under and b) whether
that user has write access to that directory.

It's odd since the Calendar info seems to sync fine. It's just the contact
info. Anyway, thanks for your help but I think for now, I will just enter
contacts into Notes and overwrite the phone everytime I sync.
