    Hi,

Has anybody had/got an A830 on the Three service that works properly?. I
received my second warranty exchange handset yesterday and I have already
found that it has the same problems as the first two (i.e. cutting out mid
    call, resetting randomly etc.).

    Regards,

It will not be the handset cutting out mid call but the network dropping you
    mid call.

Nope, I could still hear the other person, but they couldn't hear me. It
also used to re-set before and after call (especially if I was using the
Bluetooth headset) and reject its sim card.

I think Three and Motorola launch the phone without doing anywhere near
    enough testing.

Anyway after 3 A830 handsets and 2 sim cards, Three have given me an A835 (I
have had a lot of problems with the A830 and Three's attempts to deal with
the problems). So far a MUCH better phone, though if Motorola have fitted
AGPS to the phone, why haven't they made it accessible to thing like my PC
or iPAQ. The handset access it within the browser for location based
    services.

I usually keep Bluetooth turned off and then never have problems. I think
the battery has more life if Bluetooth is turned off also.

    I've seen the A835. It's a 2nd generation 3G phone for Motorola. It's a
    tremendous hardware improvement.
