V60 TDMA Antenna Breakage Question

OK I have broken the antenna 4 times now. I ship it to Motorola and they fix
it for free. All they do is replace the antenna "mount" or "bushing" as some
call it. Downtime, ONE WEEK. You can get these "bushings" on eBay for about
the same price as what shipping will cost, thus downtime ZERO. So where am I
going with this. Well you can also get the CDMA antenna and "bushing" on
eBay for the same price. The CDMA version does not break as easily. Will
this work on a TDMA phone. Will the reception be the same, worse or better
(this antenna actually rises)?

email me at m3god@hotmail.com

Thanks in Advance

Bill P

The antenna and the air interface have nothing to do with each other.
If the phone is dual-band, and the antenna is dual-band, it should
work. 7868s (CDMA) worked pretty well with the TDMA StatTac antenna.
