My mother has a Motorola T722i phone and was wondering if there is any
software that makes it easier to maintain and edit the phonebook on the PC
then update it to the phone, instead of doing all the work on the phone
    itself ?

I asked Motorola and after a week or so of trying they told me that the only
software they sell, in their data connectivity kit, uses Outlook.

I do not have Outlook and can not afford to buy it.

Is there any option available to do this without having to buy Outlook ? I
would even write my own software if I had to.

Also, is there any way to edit phone settings or upload pictures or
ringtones to the phone with a PC and cable kind of thing ?

    Thanks
