Hi all, I am thinking about buying a Motorola T 720. How is this phone,
overall? Do you 720 owners recommend it ?
Thnx.

Re: moto T720
I've got 2 - both GSM on AT&T. Phone feels flimsy. RF performance is not
as good as other Nokia or Siemens phones I've had. The phone book user
interface is clumsy. The menu responsiveness is slow. Color display is
nice. USB connectivity is nice, and I am able to edit entries in Lotus
Notes and Outlook using Trusynch S/W.
Overall - I would wait for a better phone and bypass this one. I'm
personally waiting for the V600 with IR and Bluetooth connectivity.
Hopefully, the responsiveness and RF performance will have improved.

Re: moto T720
I on the other hand think it is a great phone, with great reception and
great features. The phone book is just fine, being easy to use, though I do
agree that the menu can be a bit slow when I have the internal memory stock
full of ringtones, games etc from uploading from my pc, but nothing at all
to complain about!

Re: moto T720
I find the T720 to be an excellent phone. RF is great, works in my basement
where my Nokia wouldn't, great clarity on both ends. Battery life with the
750 bat. is good, 3hrs talk and 5 to 7 days stby.

Mine's crap. I'll be replacing it as soon as I can afford to do so. "Flip
Phone" hinge is rather delicate and the bugger hangs about once a week. Back
to Nokia for me!

What are you smoking to say that battery time is wonderful? I have maybe 3
days max if I don't talk on it and am in digital the whole time. 6 hours if
I'm in very poor analog. Don't get me wrong, I love the phone and wouldn't
trade it in. But I hate having to charge it every single day. Not to
mention that the ringer speaker is a bit on the quiet side.
