any advice would be great.
i thought windows would just recognize my phone as a modem, once i
plugged it in. i'm using a serial cable, but no luck. do i need drivers?
(serial cable and truesync work fine, BTW.)

Set the phone up as a Hayes-compatible modem at 19,200bps. The
computer should be able to talk to it. (Try using Hyperteminal.)
