I have some problems with my Motorola T720i: sometimes the alarm does
not set off. Once it happens, it becomes very reproducable: you set
the alarm time, say in 5 minutes and nothing happens at that time.
However, if you reboot the phone (just turn it off and on) the alarm
works again.
Regarding event reminder, sometimes it sounds without any reason
showing the event still months ahead...
Have someone else similar problems?
The S/W version is T720PM_G_05.31.1CR

Yes, along with many other problems. After three of them I demanded new phone
from another manufacture. I liked the user interface on the 720, but too many
damn problems.

Is there a list of known problems with this phone? Any response from
Motorola? Firmware upgrade?
Thanks.

They upgraded the firmware in August, That seemed to take care of only the phone locking up
problem. As far as I am concerned I don't care. I know longer have the phone and will not purchase
another Motorola product.
Other problems I have had... any call would drop after 10 minutes. somewhere between 11 - 13
minutes usually, but I have never had a call go over 13 without dropping.
When I open the phone it displays all the phone entries, I close it, open it again and it displays
the primary which is what I have it set for.
People always asking me, "Can I call you on a landline?"
