Motorola v300 incompatable with "mobile PhoneTools"

According to Motorola the data accessory for the v300 is the "PC600
mobile PhoneTools" SKU # 98540.
(Reference: http://direct.motorola.com/experienc...ories_data.ASP)
I purchased this kit which includes the USB cable and the PC600
software (v1.2). Unfortunatley, there is no built in support for the
v300,v500 or v600. It seems to be able to communicate with the phone,
but when it asks me to choose my phone it is not listed.
In the past, has Motorola been known to do stuff like this, and if so
are they known to offer updates/patches to add compatability?

your going to need the upgrade pc620, and i cant find this anywhere so i
think its not available yet.

may download it on motclub.com follow instrucyion how to upgrade
previous version to actual one, it works i testes on my V300. You may
downolad midi , jpgs, gifs and mp3s
