    Hi,

I purchased a Motorola V525 on Vodafone Spain the other day and after
some initial teething problems with the line setup for MMS and
Vodafone Live! everything seemed to be fine. However I seem to have
problems setting up my pop email for GPRS.
I dont have the phone or manual with me so I must do this from memory,
so I would appreciate any help you guys and girls can give, here goes:

I get a message that my setup is not complete when I enter my email
inbox in the message section. However I have set already all the
parameters inclduing the ISP settings (except maybe the Return
address, cant remember) according to Vodafone Spain (we stepped
through it on another phone although with these guys you cant always
be sure). In the email setup it asks you for the provider name, user
ID and password for ONE provider.
How can I create several accounts/providers to be checked? When I
click on provider I get a little menu pop up where it lists two items:
vodafone mail (or something like that) and custom. The first was
ticked. In that menu I can put the cursor/band over one or the other
but either go back or accept, the central button acts like accept
button (think this is normal) but the open menu button (the one above
the arrows) just takes me back to the message centre menu. So it seems
I cannot edit these two items. Also if I select Custom then I going
back to select the other option (Vodafone mail) does not work, it
    sticks on custom.
Do I need to complete the setup of that one before it will let me
    chose another?
And how can I add more items in that list, I'm thinking I should be
able to add one for each pop mail server I have access to, right?

    Very confused.
BTW If I get it sim unlocked and then take it into technical services
later for repair/firmware or software change/parameter change whats
the likelyhood that they will detect it being unlocked and what
    will/can they do accordingly?

    Thanks in advance folks!!!!!

    Dani

    I have the same problem.
In e-mail setup it says UserID and password but I can't find anywhere where
I can specify my email address. I can specify return address and that's all.
With Connection type I tried GPRS even CSD but nothing happened.
    Does anybody have solution.
