Does anyone have experience with the Sony Ericsson T610 Camera Phone
    by T-Mobile?

How is the real life battery talk time? How clear is the picture
quality? And most importantly how is the reception strength and voice
    quality of this phone?

I found a pretty good deal at yahoo shopping here

    http://yesmobile.site.yahoo.net?SET610USN

I want to get some real people's opinions before I pull the trigger
    on this buy.

Re: Is the Sony Ericsson T610 Cam phone as good as advertised?

I have the phone and I recently tried a few from TM before settling on this
one. As I don't think ANY phone is perfect - I do like this one for it's
features. It does not have a speaker phone, which I would use if I had - as
I use this on my home phone a lot - but I've never had it on a cell so don't
miss it. I tried a Nokia, don't recall which model, did have a speaker phone
but no voice dial (which I won't live w/o). I also wanted at least and IR
connection to manage my phone book. I have not used blue tooth before this,
and use now a lot. Got a $35 USB to B/T adapter for my computer and all
works fine. The camera is "OK" and I was not expecting much. I do download
good quality pix into the phone via B/T and manage the .mid ring tones (very
cool - download any /mid from the web, and there are many - then download
into the phone). The memory is OK, but not great. I have about 5-6 good
quality pix, 4-5 nice ring tones and still have ton's of memory left. I like
when the phone rings, and the phone not only announces the name of the
caller, but shows their picture. Reception has been good. There was 1 time I
could not make a call when I was inside a building, but it was find outside.

My 30 day eval is not over but I don't see another phone from TM that I
would get in place of this one.

    > How is the real life battery talk time?

***** I keep the phone charged every other day.. and works fine. If you
wanted to go a week, not sure on this, but keep the IR and BT off, the
screen shuts down to black until a call comes in, and I think maybe a week
    would be OK??

    > How clear is the picture quality?

*** Not great, but I was not expecting much. I think fine for outside in the
sun, but I have tried the night mode, and B/W settings, you need a tripod
for the night mode (not sure of the shutter speed, but long) and the zoom is
OK - plus you can increase / decrease the brightness before you take the
    pix.

    > And most importantly how is the reception strength and voice quality of

    this phone?
**** I came from a AT&T Siemens S46 phone, and I find the reception the
same - actually better, because I can use this phone where the Siemens would
drop out on a regular basis - in fact, as I think of it, I would drop 3-4
calls per day with the Siemens, and I have not dropped 1 call yet with this
phone - but not a phone issue, a service issue. I travel the same places and
TM seems to cover where I travel well.

*** Got my phone for $100 with $100 rebate.
