    How do u set up cell broadcast/ location information (channel 50 i think) on
    the motorola v525? Is it possible to display this information on the
    main/home screen just like most Nokia phones?

    Yes - Discovered by trial and error !

    Go to Messages > Select Info services > Key menu > Select Setup
    Then change service from Off to On
    Select Active Channels > New channel and enter 50

    Yes - Discovered by trial and error !

    Go to Messages > Select Info services > Key menu > Select Setup
    Then change service from Off to On
    Select Active Channels > New channel and enter 50

    Same here! I actually put mine through the "Quick View" feature so that the
    location appears on the main screen. Thanks for getting back to me on that
    issue though. Much appreciated!
