I can't get it to work. I have upgraded my Mobile phone tools to v.2.19a,
but still getting a message "modem does not respond". I am using a data
cable that came with my old model 280 - it's a serial cable. Wonder if I
should buy a V300 USB cable to try to fix the problem.
Can anyone share the experience with V300 and Mobile phone tools?...
    Thanks.

I got the phone from T-mobile a few days ago. I played with installing
Mobile phone tools today using the same serial cable and at first it didn't
work (was getting stuck on "initializing...) then I turned the phone off and
on and it initialized fine and showed t-mobile on the computer screen phone.
However, it works only partially, e.g. it lets me edit pnone book and reads
and writes names and phone no's to the phone, but it gets stuck in
Multimedia Studio. Also, when I try do dial a number using computer - the
numbers the phone sends are different, so may be it is my cable...

    Re: usb drivers for v300

I just bought the same USB cable on ebay. $6.45 (I used "buy now"). On
Motorola sight it's $30!! I'll post the result when I get it.
    Thanks Thomas.
