The sad part about this is all cell carriers are required to have all
customers equipment GPS or triangulation enabled by 2005 for E911 locate
ablility. However, we as impatient Americans can't wait and these companies
all know it.

All customers? Are you saying that non-GPS phones like the i95 won't be
allowed anymore?

As long as it has internet capabilties you will be fine. It is the non internet phone that will get bounced first. So the i95 will be fine.
