software updates i730...question

what are these updates, does anyone know what improvements to the phone are?
idenupdate doesn't give specifics, so how do you know what the heck you are
downloading into the phone?

I think for now if you have firmware version .06.....you are good. I know there have been a couple developers releases but....I am not sure they are stable
