Another direct connect question

How do you send an alert to someone? I'm using a 730 and when I scroll my
contacts list, I can't seem to find an option to do that. I can call the
person by hitting the OK key, but bringing up the menu gives you address
book options.

Find the contact in your address book and press the "right" arrow key to
show the "walkie-talkie" icon you will then see the "alert" key under the
top left soft key.
