I've reported the following problem message ...

Problems:
1. Sending text messages via emailing phonenumber@messaging.nextel.com is
not working, I am not receiving text messages on my cell phone. Can no
longer use internet email to send text messages. Note: Text messages sent
via http://messaging.nextel.com/ does work.
2. Your website http://www.nextel.com/eCareApp/jsp/cell_problem.jsp is down,
cannot report problems online.
Please advise Support Service.

I've been having similar problems with Sprint.

While I've got a trouble ticket opened, it's been suggested that some of
the current problems may be Katrina related.

I tested an email to xxxxxxxxxx@page.nextel.com, it works!
