Anyone know if Nextel is gonna come out with any of the Razor/Sliver style
phones. Those are nice looking and thin phones. It would be neat if they
would give an option other than a variation of the i5/7/830 they seem to be
    stuck on.

Probably not, too thin to fit the PTT button for Direct Connect.

Just heard on Monday from Uncle Gary that the dual mode phone will be based
on the Razr. It will be the first iDen phone to have "Sprint" on the front,
and "Nextel" will still be on the back. The second dual mode phone will be
similar to the one on the link in Bill's post.

That's what I get for thinking!

Did you Uncle happen to mention that the dual mode phone is a software
driven phone? Example being....the phone is actually software programmed on
    freq.
Now I am not about to say I know what the hell I am doing....but for some of
the other people in here that actually knows what they are doing "Not like
Justin who makes claims and cannot do **** but get programs free and then
rips people off by selling it" But imagine this......having a phone and
changing the freq. and using it on another network or using another carrier
phone, since phones are becoming software based, being able to actually use
a another carrier phone on the iden/ sprint network..

the latest rumors of a dual band phone indicates that it will use Sprints network for phone and Nextel for Two-way, I think that is the closest you are going to get before they move to the future network which is different from what either company uses now.
