Can somebody tell me about GPS on Moto phones??

ok what is the gps good for in the moto iden phones?
can it be used to navigate ? use as a map locator or what?
can it be used with software for maps? if so what software?


just curious about it.it just sits there in my phone and i have only
hit refresh to see what hapends and after almost 5min it did refresh
with my position but that is the most i have done with it.

In addition the 911 Center can locate you if needed if you set the
phone for it and the Center has that facility. See your manual.
