Re: Nextel should be shaking in their boots

Has anyone noticed that most calling plan changes or phone upgrades
result in a 2 year contract extension/renewal. Nextel knows that Verizon
is on their tail and they are trying to secure as many existing
customers as possible. Churn baby, churn!

If Nextel was "Business" then they would be in "all 50 states!" You do
have a great plan, however, look at the incoming plans now...no
night/weekends on anything. Getting more expensive than they already
    are!

I think over time, Verizon will own Nextel. With 4 to 1 customers, they
are never going to come close!

I think you are correct. If Verizon can get a quaility PPT system up and
running, it would make good business sience to go out and buy your customers
from a competer that has a good customer based for PPT. Reguardly on whos
systems is better or cheaper it is easier to buy your customers rather then
    to compete.

Yeah, *notice* it is exactly what happened -- they didn't *tell* us,
    we just found it out.

They'll get theirs (class-action lawsuit, that is).

Is a two year contract mandatory for renewal? I'm a T-Mob customer & this is
one reason I hesitate to sigh up with Verizon. I'm still debating who to go
with - Nextel or Verizon. The more I read the more confused I become.
