Coverage in Chicagoland Area

I'm wondering if anyone can comment on how coverage for Nextel is in the
Chicagoland area. SprintPCS is really lousy.

In particular, how is reception inside buildings? I get next to nothing
in the grocery store, while others talk on and on.

we do not live in chicago. however, when we were in chicago for four days in
june the coverage for nextel was awesome. we did not have one bit of problem
anywhere we were at. including wrigley!

I go up to Chicago at least 2 times a year and have never had a problem
except for inside the Field Museum. There are a lot of areas in the
museum that it didn't work but everywhere else it worked fine.

I think the network is very mature up there being I don't get as many DC
busies like I do in South Florida during prime time.

Nextel is using a lower freq in Chicago area, that goes into buildings much
better.
