I don't know if I buy that. The only difference in my mind between
direct connect and a regular phone call is ease of setup and time. I mean
reducing the time it takes from the time you hit "send" to start and call
and the other party gets a ring signal would effectively do the same
thing. I hate that 4-5 second lag. I'd like to see it be almost
instantaneous and frankly I don't understand why THAT'S not do-able.
